“I’ll make the unanswered dreams of my older sisters come true.”

This is Heejin’s resolution as she begins activities in LOOΠΔ’s first unit, ‘LOOΠΔ 1/3′. Out of three daughters, she’s the youngest. Her oldest sister is a researcher at a bio firm while her second sister is currently majoring in bio at university. Among the sisters, Heejin isn’t some ‘mutant’. Her eldest sister continued learning dance sports and her other sister had a dream of being a singer for some time. Now they’re older sisters who are the most reliable cheerleaders for Heejin.

Heejin has loved dancing ever since she was a kid and wanted to be a singer the moment she saw Girls Generation. In middle school (2012), she started attending a dance academy, in order to follow her dreams. She lived in the countryside, so it took her 4 hours to get to the practice room in Seoul. At that time, she didn’t have enough practice as she struggled with the money for transportation. She was rejected at several auditions, but luckily in 2015 she was casted through social media by Blockberry Creative. In her auditions, she sang Lin’s ‘A-live’ and got accepted. She then became a trainee for a year. Currently, her role models are Lucia (Shim Kyusun) and Taeyeon of Girls Generation (SNSD).

“Now that I debuted, I want to be Korea’s top girl group. Also, my goal is to be a singer that other people can look up to.”
